What a crazy month it's been...

Well, we've been a little behind on posting pics from the past month, but we have been a little busy. With C in the hospital, Easter, house projects, work, and keeping up with a now 5 month old, we are just getting around to it!
Here are some photos from the hospital:

Before the hospital; C in her hospital bed; Claire with her favorite nurse, Kristie. :)
We took Claire downtown to get a PICC line in her arm. The line ran through her arm almost to her heart. Sweet girl.
This pic just about sums up how we felt all week. I looked a mess, but it was no measure of what I felt inside. I would gladly go through 20 natural child labors than all of this.
Bath time in the hospital!
Here is C with all of her monitors.

Claire learned how to hold a bottle while we were in the hospital!
Daddy and Claire watched the Aggies during March Madness. Claire was starting to feel much better...
For being so sick, she had quite the happy face.

Our last treatment! She had an IV drip of an antibiotic for 7 days. We were so happy to go home!
Here's a picture of Mark, loading our stuff up in the wagon. I couldn't believe we were there a week!
Here's a pic of C, the day after we got home from the hospital. Look at that sweet face!
Here are some photos from Easter:

Jesus is LORD! (Sorry about the quality of this photo- it was taken on my phone!)
Now for the "real" stuff... After church, we headed to see Mark's family in Kaufman. Thanks to Google Maps, we took a lovely back road and ended up here:
Let's just say it took 2 trucks and about an hour and a 1/2 to pull us out. Boo.
Can you believe that C is now 5 months old?? I mean, wasn't she just inside my womb? Apparently not! Here are some things she's doing now:
1. babbling, spitting, talking
2. bouncing up and down in her exercsaucer
3. holding her bottle (yeah, I know... crazy!)
4. rolling over (well, I haven't seen it, but the sitter has seen it twice :()
5. weighs 13.4 lbs.
6. puts everything in her mouth
7. teething- none poking through, yet
8. getting really close to sitting on her own.
9. sleeping 9-10+ hours a night (yes! Praise the LORD!)
10. Giggling- our favorite! we LOVE every time she does it. Melts our hearts.
Love this face!

Myko wants to give kisses.

We call this the "Claire kiss." Actually, she just sees any object in front of her and chomps down.

Claire: "Um. I'm a big girl."
Mommy: "Yes, dear. You are. :)"

Look at those chunky legs. Love them...

She's really getting into this!
Pebbles... ready to bounce!
Next month- Rice cereal and the beginnings of baby food. Yikes!! I'll try to be better about posting, but I hope you all enjoyed the update!
