Yesterday we celebrated our 2nd anniversary with a local day of fun and food. Shevawn woke me up to an amazing waffle breakfast which we ate out on our patio thanks to the new bistro set she bought and put together for us!
We spent the rest of the day out and about, shopping, eating, just hanging around. Then last night, Shevawn made my favorite meal, Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with a homemade Cheesecake for dessert. Yummy!
Even though Year #2 wasn't perfect, I can say there is no one I would rather have an imperfect year with than my wife. Marriage isn't easy, but it's worth every ounce of effort we've put into it thus far. Here's to many more to come...

That is so sweet Mark! You're right...it isn't easy. But it's definitely worth every second!! After being married for 6 years I can honestly tell you it doesn't get any easier. Every year presents its own set of triumphs, but along with those comes its own set of joys! I wouldn't change anything we've been through for the world!! It's made us stronger!! :) I am so happy for you both!! Congratulations on making through year #2!!
Love you guys!
Shawna
OK...so it's 11:45 and it's obviously time for bed!!! I just realized I said joys and triumphs in the same sentence...which is fine expcept it doesn't make any sense b/c they both mean the same thing!!!
So, what I was trying to say was:
Every year presents its own set of CHALLENGES, but along with those comes its own set of joys! Or something like that...you get what I'm trying to say. Night, night!!
Much love,
Shawna
